Naturally Dyed collection # 1 at Unit D
I will be launching my first collection of naturally dyed and printed organic linen homewares and accessories at Unit D, a group show/shop/restaurant open as part of the London Design Festival.
Dyed with madder, weld, woad and other organic plant dyes, they have a lovely luminosity, unique to natural pigmentation.
There’s Large Linens and Medium Linens that can be used as a tablecloths, throws, or beach/picnic blankets. Small Linens that can be used as napkins or placemats. Cushions in three sizes, dyed or printed with a two tone texture. Aprons in knee or calf lengths, and an oversized Tote bag.
All will be available to purchase at Unit D in a variety natural colours, later from my online store and from early Spring from a few choice shops.
Unit D is curated by Saskia Pomeroy, she’s brought together an amazing group of designers, some established with new work such as Kangan Arora, Dean Edmonds, Annie Strachan and Will Edmonds, and then some designers will be debuting their first products fresh out of art school such as David Steiner.
